Innovating the Consumer Experience: Trends across the Food, Wine, Beer, and Spirits Industries
Friday, February 1, 2013
On behalf of Darden’s Wine and Cuisine Club, I am pleased to invite you to attend Innovating the Consumer Experience: Trends across the Food, Wine, Beer, and Spirits Industries, an MBA conference which explores getting started and growing within the industries. Among Darden’s largest student clubs, the Wine and Cuisine Club is focused on promoting the appreciation for and enjoyment of fine wine, beverages, and cuisine from around the globe. Through our annual conference, we expand our efforts to include information and resources for students with both personal and professional interests in these industries.
The conference will take place on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. The purpose of this event is to educate attendees on the opportunities and challenges of building a business across the industries, from launching a new venture to reinvigorating an existing brand. The conference will feature a keynote address by Lyons Brown of Altamar Brands, a panel presentation on careers across the food and beverage industries, industry break-out sessions, and a cocktail reception. These events will provide attendees not only with the opportunity to learn more about the industry, its products, and its brands, but also to network with industry insiders.
You must register for the event if you plan on attending. Any questions should be directed to Angie Bartles, bartlesm13@darden.virginia.edu.
