Participating Organizations:
Darden Capital Management (DCM) is a student-run organization
with the purpose of preparing its membership for careers in investment
management and research as well as other functions within the financial
markets. DCM collectively manages roughly $5,000,000 in assets across
four distinct funds, making it one of the largest programs of its kind.
The Cavalier, Darden, Jefferson, and Monticello Funds are managed
independently and provide the opportunity for Darden students to develop
skills in investment analysis and portfolio management.
Darden Capital
Management (DCM)
The McIntire Investment Institute (MII) is an entirely
student-run long-short equity fund investing in domestic and
international equities. With a portfolio valued at approximately
$500,000, the MII uses its core investing philosophy of value-added
research to achieve significant growth of its assets. By concentrating
on enhancing company research through value added research, students
focus on achieving an edge in their investment theses to exceed market
expectations.
